New Creatures Added!

Hello, Family—

Can you believe the day we’re having? We’re barely two hours into this campaign, and we’ve not just funded the Old Gods of Appalachia Roleplaying Game, but we’ve also made two upgrades to the book already. Thanks to you hitting these first two stretch goals, we’ve added a poster map and upgraded the corebook with the addition of roughly a dozen new creatures (on top of the many creatures and NPCs already planned). These upgrades apply to both the standard edition and the limited Deluxe Edition (and of course the PDF).

This is a really exciting start—and it is just the start!

Our next stretch goal is a little different: It’s something special for the Deluxe Edition. This is already going to be a beautiful book, with its vegan leather, foil-stamped cover (plus reversible dust jacket), gilt edging, and satin ribbon bookmark. We’d like to make this limited-edition collector’s item even nicer, with the addition of eight pages of art plates. These pages will showcase some of the best art from within the book in a larger format. We’ll unlock this upgrade at $450,000.

This has been an amazing day so far. Please keep spreading the word, so we can invite more gamers and Old Gods of Appalachia fans into the RPG family, and unlock this and even more stretch goals!

Deluxe Edition Gets Art Plates!

Hello, Family—

Thanks to your support, we have unlocked yet another stretch goal. The limited Deluxe Edition of the Old Gods of Appalachia Roleplaying Game will now get eight pages of art plates, showing off some of the best art from the RPG and making this Kickstarter edition even more amazing, whether it’s in your collection or on your game table. It’s really exciting to unlock so many stretch goals so early in the campaign. And we’re just getting started! For our next stretch goal, we want to add more playable content to the corebook, this time with a new adventure.

At $550,000, we will add a second adventure! We were already planning to include an adventure in the book—with this stretch goal, we’ll double the fun and include two adventures. This new content will apply to both the standard edition and the limited Deluxe Edition (and—of course—the PDF).

Please keep telling the world about Alternate Appalachia, the Old Gods of Appalachia Roleplaying Game, and this Kickstarter campaign. The more we can grow our family, the more stretch goals we can unlock!
